Tyre Recycling Pyrolysis Plant Project Report-What You Must Know

Waste tyres lead to serious environmental pollution

The United States, Japan and Europe produce more than 6 million tones of scrap tyres per year. The huge quantity of waste tires that are produced currently will more likely improve as associated industries grow. Disposal of scrap tires is becoming a serious problem for the environment; accumulation of waste tires that are discarded lead to environmental pollution

Large fractions of scrap tires that are dumped in various sites represent hazards that lead to accidental fires and diseases. Rubbers aren’t biologically degradable and this always leads to problems as far as disposal matters are concerned. The impacts of waste rubbers that are found on the environment get minimized by recycling with other materials

During processing its unfortunate that moldering rubber materials get cross linked and this means that they can’t be remolded and softened by heating. For years landfill was the only practical means when it came to dealing with the problem of waste tyres.

In the recent past, land-filling of tires as a disposal option has been on the decline since tires don’t easily degrade in landfills because they are bulky and take up a valuable landfill space apart from preventing waste compaction. Open dumping leads to accidental fires that come along with high pollution emissions. Some countries including Slovakia have already banned using discarded tyres for landfills. Here is the waste tires recycling machines project report, which may give you some information about the waste tyre pyrolysis.

* What’s Tyre Pyrolysis?

Pyrolysis is basically a thermo-chemical decomposition of organic materials at temperatures that are elevated in the absence of oxygen or any other halogen. This involves a simultaneous change of chemical compositions and physical phases that are irreversible. This word originated from Greek elements where ‘pyro’ means fire while ‘lysis’ means separating.

The pyrolysis of waste tyres is basically a process that involves the heating shredded or whole tryes in realtor vessels that contain an oxygen-free atmosphere and a source of heat. Inside the realtor, the rubber gets softened where rubber polymers burn continuously thus breaking down into tiny molecules.

Eventually, the tiny molecules vaporize and exit from that reactor. The vapor gets burned directly in-order to produce power; it can also be condensed into oily type liquids and generally be used as a source of fuel. There are other molecules that are usually too small and cannot condense; such molecules remain as gasses that get burned as fuel.

The minerals that were initially part of the tyres are removed in a solid state. If performed properly, the tyre Pyrolysis process is an extremely clean operation that has minimal waste or emissions. The scrap tire recycling machine separates the solids that are in the tyre like carbon and steel from gaseous compounds and volatile liquids that in the end are can be used as alternative fuel.

* The working procedure of the tyre pyrolysis plant

(1) Putting raw material inside the furnace

(2) Sealing feed inlet as the bottom of the realtor slowly heats wastes by electricity or coal

(3) When temperatures get to about 250-280 degrees, crude oil is found

(4) Oil steam is continuously produced until temperature gets to around 300-400 degrees Celsius

(5) Oil steam flows through heavy and light components separating devices

(6) Light components enter the condenser while residues get discharged automatically

(7) Liquefied parts gets condensed to rubber oils

(8) The part that can not be liquefied is put in the heating supply system for burning g through combustion-gas-purification-system
